Message from the President

Hello, MPI Pittsburgh Family!

I’m so excited to be sharing this year with you! As we begin the new year with our new board I want to introduce myself and give you the vision our 2017/2018 Board has for our chapter.

My name is Lindsay Bullis (soon to be Lindsay Mongell in November) – and I am thrilled to be your president for the 2017/2018 year!
I am the Event Coordinator for California University of PA, where I have been for just over 6 years now. I have been a member of MPI since 2012 and credit so much of my achievements to the education and experience I have obtained from this organization.

I have advanced my career, earned my CMP, planned some amazing events with the help of the contacts I have gained at events, and have helped students enter the wild world of events from the opportunities MPI Pittsburgh has given me.
It is my goal to help each one of you make the most out of your membership with MPI!

We are fresh off our annual retreat at the Penn Stater Conference Center where the 2017/2018 board shared ideas and brained stormed ways to keep our membership satisfied and provide them with the tools they need to advance in their career. We are putting a lot of time and effort into planning quality and interesting events. We have a lot great ideas and we’re thrilled to share these experiences with you in 2017-2018!

Cheers to a great MPI year!

Lindsay Bullis, CMP

Member Spotlight

Congratulations to our June Member of the Month, Lindsey Relich!

Lindsey is the Group Sales Manager at the
Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel.

She joined MPI Pittsburgh this year,
where she has volunteered in different roles with our chapter.

Lindsey enjoys MPI for the networking opportunities.
Her favorite MPI meeting was the
Meeting Planner Horror Stories at the Halloween Event.

If Lindsey was not in the event field she would be a Travel Writer.

MPI Pittsburgh would like to thank Lindsey for all of her talents and contributions she has shared with the MPI Pittsburgh Chapter this year! We look forward to having Lindsey on the board of directors starting next month!
